Dear Resident,
Bonfire Night may now have passed and I hope you all had a great night, but if you are planning on attending an Organised Bonfire and Firework Display tonight, please can you Stay Safe by following this simple advice!
Follow event staff instructions at all times and pay attention to any safety announcements. Arrive early where possible to avoid congestion and allow plenty of time to find a safe viewing area. Keep a safe distance from bonfires, fireworks display zones, and safety barriers. These are there to protect you. Supervise children closely and consider arranging a meeting point in case anyone becomes separated from your group. Dress appropriately for the weather, including warm clothing and suitable footwear, as many events take place on uneven or muddy ground. Be considerate of others by disposing of litter responsibly and respecting event staff, volunteers, and fellow attendees. If you are bringing pets, check whether the event permits animals and ensure they are kept under control. Many pets can become distressed by loud noises. Report any concerns immediately to event organisers, stewards, security staff, or the police. In an emergency, always follow the instructions of event staff and emergency services personnel. By taking a few simple precautions, everyone can enjoy a safe, fun, and memorable bonfire event. Have a fantastic evening and stay safe.
Stay Safe Everyone, and have a Great Night!!! | ||
